HEALTHY INTERNET AT SCHOOL
Benzoy School is a software product that allows children to surf, play games and chat at school – within set boundaries. It was developed in consultation with parents of children aged 6 years and older, and in cooperation with teachers and school systems managers.
Considering the social importance of healthy internet at school, Benzoy School is offered at cost price. We can do this thanks to the business community. When a company chooses a special Benzoy Business packet, they make a contribution to offset the cost of Benzoy School. Thus the business world sponsors a balance of time spent by pupils and invests in the employees of the future.
WHAT MAKES BENZOY SCHOOL UNIQUE:
Instructors and students agree when and for how long predetermined sites may be visited.
Example: sites like YouTube and Hyves can not be visited.
Violence, drugs, erotica, gambling, shopping: Benzoy reads and restricts webpage content before it is shown.
Pictures of allowed websites are shown on the class ‘home page’.
Benzoy users can access handy tools such as a calculator, notepad and Wikipedia at the touch of a single button. Instructors and students can add applications themselves, for quick and easy use.
Information about settings and use, in the interest of open dialogue and reaching agreement.
Using Benzoy School, you can manage various PCs at school from a single location: the internet. So you can log in any time, from anywhere, to set preferences, check restrictions, view statistics and – when you want to – make modifications.
Questions about use of Benzoy products are thoroughly answered in our FAQ and knowledge bank. Statistics and graphics keep you informed about all your students’ activities.
